Building society hires new Chief Finance Officer

Bath Building Society has announced the appointment of Annelie Grey to the position of Chief Finance Officer.

She takes over from Ash Kassam who stepped down at the company’s AGM in April this year.

With a career spanning 25 years, Annelie brings a unique blend of industry knowledge and broad commercial insight, leading teams across finance, customer operations, accounting, auditing and regulatory reporting. She joins from Principality Building Society where she was Head of Planning & Performance.

Speaking about the appointment, Richard Ingle, Chief Executive Officer at Bath Building Society said, “We are delighted to welcome Annelie to Bath Building Society. She brings exceptional commercial judgement and a proven track record of leading finance teams at both Principality and Nationwide Building Societies. Her leadership will be instrumental to further strengthening our financial resilience for the next phase of our growth strategy.”
