Julian House has announced Battens Solicitors and the Battens Charitable Trust as sponsors of The Brain of Bath for a fourth consecutive year.

The Brain of Bath, which takes place in November, is a much-anticipated staple in the city’s professional social calendar. It unites local businesses, their clients and quiz lovers for an evening of brain-teasing competition and good-spirited rivalry.

By covering core event costs, Battens and its Charitable Trust are helping to ensure that more of the funds raised on the night go directly towards Julian House’s services.

Katherine Gilmour, a Director of Battens, said, “Our Bath office has served the city for the best part of a decade and with no sign of slowing down, we offer a personable and inclusive approach tailored to meet the needs of all of our clients. We also love giving back to the community through our Battens Charitable Trust, supporting local charities such as Julian House, as well as foodbanks, schools and hospitals.”

Grace Dearson, Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships lead at Julian House, added, “We are proud to celebrate and support the continued success of Battens and the Battens Charitable Trust, and as we prepare for another fantastic Brain of Bath, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the firm for being champions of positive change, and for making this event possible once again.”
