Bath and Bristol-based managed IT services provider bzb IT is bringing local businesses together for a Charity Padel Tournament this November.

bzb IT will match the amount raised during the event, and all profits will be shared between Children’s Hospice South West and local counselling charity We Hear You (WHY).

The tournament will bring together teams of two for a day of padel and networking, with separate tournaments for beginners and intermediate players. Beginners will start with an introduction to the sport before their tournament gets underway, so no previous experience is needed.

Players will break for lunch and networking at midday, before the tournaments conclude in the early afternoon. The day finishes with team challenges, the announcement of the winners and a raffle.

Oliver Hayes, Business Development Manager at bzb IT, said, “We wanted to put on a day that works for people who have never held a padel racquet as well as those who play every week. It is a good way to meet other local businesses while raising money for two charities that do a huge amount for families in our region.

“We will be matching whatever is raised on the day, so every team that enters makes a bigger difference.”

The event takes place on Friday 27th November, 8am to 3.30pm at Future Padel, Yate.

Entry costs £140 per team of two and includes racquet hire, lunch, hot drinks and selected cold drinks.

Teams can enter by emailing Oliver at oli.hayes@bzbit.co.uk
