South West Charity Conference & Expo 2026: Meet B&NES 3SG
The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo returns to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 11th June 2026.
This year’s theme is Rebuilding Trust, Resilience and Relevance: The Future of Charity in a Changing World, with sessions and conversations exploring how the sector can adapt, reconnect and continue to make an impact during a time of rapid change.
The annual event is now in its 8th year, and is being delivered in partnership with our founding sponsor Milsted Langdon.
Attracting attendees and exhibitors from across the country, the South West Charity Conference & Expo has grown to be a flagship event for the TBE network and promises a wealth of opportunities to connect, converse and contribute.
B&NES Third Sector Group (3SG) is just one of many organisations taking part.
What does your organisation do?
3SG supports over 260 charities, community and faith groups and social enterprises across Bath & North East Somerset.
We are a charity in our own right, which exists to provide infrastructure support and advocacy for our membership network. Our work involves 1:1 support, training and workshops, events and networking.
We advocate for the sector at a local and national Government level and make sure the VCFSE sector is given a voice within NHS planning, too.
From mid-May, we will have opened our new office space, ThirdSpace at 3SG, which offers low-cost hot desking and a boardroom for our members to hire, given space in Bath City Centre often comes at a premium.
The team are also working on separate projects which include Social Prescribing, Social Economy, the Wellbeing Courses for B&NES and supporting Somer Valley organisations working in partnership with Radstock & Westfield Big Local.
Why have you signed up for the Conference & Expo and what do you hope to gain from it?
We have been coming to the Conference & Expo for a few years now and always find it a good way to connect with both the organisations that we support and local businesses.
We have been trying to do more to broker relationships between businesses and charities in the past two years, and this is a good opportunity to make those contacts and for people to find out more about what we do. We always find the speakers interesting and it’s good to take time out from the day job, reconnect and learn.
Are there any parts of the day you are looking forward to the most?
We are excited to see this year’s guest speakers and always enjoy connecting with others through the Expo.
What can people expect from your organisation on the day?
We have a good relationship with TBE and so it is likely we will pop up at various points during the day. There has been cake on our stall in the past, too – so it’s definitely worth a visit. The team is very friendly, too!
Where can people find out more about your organisation?
3sg.org.uk and you can also find us via Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
