Founded by a team of scientists, engineers, and sports professionals, Forceteck has developed AI-driven technology that delivers lab-grade data without the need for wearable sensors. Over the past year, the business has grown from research prototype to real-world application, working with elite clubs and research partners. Their mission is simple: to transform performance measurement and decision making in professional sport with objective, AI-driven, actionable insights – just from video footage.
We spoke to Co-Founders, Dario Cazzola and Roy Shubhabrata, about the business and their shortlisting in TBE Awards.
Why did you enter the 2025 TBE Awards?
We entered to celebrate how far we’ve come – from concept to real-world impact – and to share our story with a community that values innovation and collaboration. The TBE Awards recognise the blend of science, technology and purpose that drives us, and we’re proud to stand alongside other businesses shaping the future of their industries.
What achievement are you most proud of in the past 12 months?
Achieving lab-grade validation for our technology – and seeing it used by professional sports teams for the first time – has been our proudest milestone. It’s proof that years of R&D, testing and iteration have paid off, and that our vision to deliver biomechanical insights directly from video is becoming a reality.
What does being a finalist in the TBE Awards mean to you / your team?
It’s a powerful recognition of the innovation, persistence, and teamwork that have shaped Forceteck. For a small team pushing the boundaries of sports tech, being a finalist means our work is seen and valued – it fuels our motivation to keep building, refining, and delivering real impact.
What’s next for you – any exciting plans or goals on the horizon?
We’re preparing for our next fundraising round to scale our operations and accelerate growth. With our technology already in use by professional clubs (football, rugby, athletics and cricket) and research institutions, the next step is to expand our customer base, enhance product capabilities, and strengthen our position as the go-to provider for biomechanical insights – on the pitch, just from video.
