Bath BID has announced the launch of ‘Love Our City Week,’ an initiative aimed at making the most of our beloved city of Bath by working with businesses to spring clean as we look forward to warmer weather. This week-long event commenced on 14th February and will run until 21st February.

Bath BID rangers are out and about all year round in the city, jet washing, litter picking, removing graffiti and responding to emergency clean up requests. You will have spotted their specialist electric vehicles which are designed to give them access to all areas of the city centre, keeping the environment fresh and inviting.

Love Our City Week is our celebration of the excellent work and environmental stewardship of the BID ranger team alongside the city centre businesses who are part of the organisation and involves a full city clean up.

Bath BID Operations Manager Roland Russell is very proud of the work of his team, he said, “We are a small team of only five rangers but the impact they make is impressive. During Love Our City Week we are going from area to area giving a thorough spring clean, including jet washing pavements, picking up litter, tidying doorways and cleaning the street furniture. If we come across any graffiti, we will deal with it as we find it. By the end of the week, we will have visited all the city centre areas within the Bath BID boundary.”
