The Business Exchange and its Founder, Anita Jaynes, have been shortlisted for three international awards.

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour the achievements of women executives, entrepreneurs, employees and the organisations they run.

TBE’s International Women’s Day Celebration, which aims to empower and showcase the region’s most inspiring women, is a finalist in the Event of the Year category, whilst Anita herself is shortlisted in the Achievement in Developing and Promoting Women – Advertising, Business Services, Marketing & PR category.

Completing a hat-trick of shortlistings, The Business Exchange is a finalist in the Magazine/Online Publication of the Year category.

The awards will be presented at a gala event in New York City on Monday 10th November, where Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie placements from among the Finalists will be revealed.

More than 1,500 entries from organisations and individuals in 48 nations and territories were submitted this year for consideration, with just a handful announced as finalists in each category.

Finalists were determined based on the average scores of more than 190 business professionals worldwide, serving across seven judging committee.  Their scores will also determine the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie placements.

Maggie Miller, President of the Stevie Awards, said, “Now in its 22nd year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business attracted an exceptional range of nominations. We are continually inspired by how meaningful it is for women to receive a Stevie Award and the lasting impact it can have on their careers and organisations. We extend our congratulations to all of this year’s Finalists and look forward to announcing the final award placements.”

Anita Jaynes said, “As an individual and as the Founder of The Business Exchange, I’m excited to be nominated for these international awards. As a woman in business I aim to champion other women across the region through our International Women’s Day event and articles, and promote the achievements of women throughout Bath, Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire wherever possible.

“As a magazine, The Business Exchange continues to set the modern standard for B2B publications to follow. We work hard to create unique content, include informative articles and support our dedicated advertisers. After 12 years of publishing, this shortlisting is recognition of how far TBE has come. We’ll all have our fingers firmly crossed on awards night.”
