Juice Recruitment launches Christmas charity initiative
Bath headquartered Juice Recruitment have launched a charity initiative to boost funds for community-based project, Eddie’s Street Cuts.
Eddie’s Street Cuts helps the homeless, cutting hair, making people feel better about themselves and spreading a positive message of hope for recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. Eddie Illic who set up the project said, “My mission is to expand Eddie’s Street Cuts in 2020, so that we can get other hairdressers involved in cutting hair on the streets of Bath and Bristol.”
Juice teamed up with Eddie to help him in his mission by raising funds through a special Christmas campaign – ‘Will Terry Last ‘Til Christmas?’
Emma Summers, founder and CEO of Juice Recruitment said, “Terry in his natural form is just a chocolate orange…. However, Terry is no ordinary chocolate orange, he has eyes, a mouth, and the Juice team have created lots of fun emoji stickers to showcase his personality.
“Juice is dropping Terry’s (chocolate oranges) to companies and candidates across the South West on the run up to Christmas, along with a set of fun facial expressions for clients’ and all Juice’s wonderful temporary team members to bring their Terry to life.
“Juice will be asking for donations for Terry and any monies raised will be matched by Juice. We are urging people to donate on Eddie’s Just Giving page .”
All the Juice Recruitment branches across the South West will be taking part including Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Swindon and Trowbridge. The team is keen to gain momentum with the campaign and engage with both businesses and individuals across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, using the hashtag #willterrylasttilchristmas.
Clients and candidates will be asked to take Terry everywhere with them on the lead up to Christmas, showcasing all their festive preparations. Terry could be at the panto or the office party. He could be visiting the Christmas market or out shopping. The Juice teams’ are keen to see all the fun antics Terry gets up to.
Emma added, “A free haircut could be the only gift a homeless person has this Christmas. Please join Juice by supporting us to continue to give something that means little to many, but so much for others.”
