The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo returns to Bath Racecourse this Thursday (11th June).

This year’s theme is Rebuilding Trust, Resilience and Relevance: The Future of Charity in a Changing World, with sessions and conversations exploring how the sector can adapt, reconnect and continue to make an impact during a time of rapid change.

The annual event is now in its 8th year, and is being delivered in partnership with our founding sponsor Milsted Langdon.

Attracting attendees and exhibitors from across the country, the South West Charity Conference & Expo has grown to be a flagship event for the TBE network and promises a wealth of opportunities to connect, converse and contribute.

Blackmore UK is just one of many organisations taking part.

What does your organisation do?

Blackmore UK is a leading provider of secure IT asset disposal (ITAD), certified data destruction, and sustainable technology reuse services. We help organisations securely collect, process, and responsibly recycle or refurbish redundant IT equipment, ensuring full compliance, complete audit trails, and maximum environmental benefit through reuse wherever possible.

Why have you signed up for the Conference & Expo and what do you hope to gain from it?
We’re excited to attend the South West Charity Conference & Expo as it provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with charities and not-for-profit organisations across the region. We hope to build new relationships, better understand the challenges charities face around technology and sustainability, and showcase how secure IT reuse and responsible disposal can support both operational and ESG goals.

Are there any parts of the event you are looking forward to the most?
We’re particularly looking forward to networking with other organisations, hearing from the speakers throughout the day, and having meaningful conversations around sustainability, digital inclusion, and how technology can make a positive impact within the charity sector.

What can people expect from your organisation on the day?
Visitors to our stand can expect to learn more about secure IT disposal, certified data destruction, IT reuse, and how redundant technology can be repurposed to create social value. We’ll be happy to discuss best practices, compliance requirements, and ways organisations can maximise the value of their retired IT equipment while supporting environmental and community initiatives.
