South West Charity Conference & Expo 2026: We Get It
The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo returns to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 11th June 2026.
This year’s theme is Rebuilding Trust, Resilience and Relevance: The Future of Charity in a Changing World, with sessions and conversations exploring how the sector can adapt, reconnect and continue to make an impact during a time of rapid change.
The annual event is now in its 8th year, and is being delivered in partnership with our founding sponsor Milsted Langdon.
Attracting attendees and exhibitors from across the country, the South West Charity Conference & Expo has grown to be a flagship event for the TBE network and promises a wealth of opportunities to connect, converse and contribute.
We Get It is just one of many organisations taking part.
What does your organisation do?
At We Get It, our mission is simple but deeply important: to ensure that nobody living with or beyond cancer has to face it alone.
Cancer affects far more than physical health. Alongside treatment, people often experience fear, isolation, anxiety, loss of confidence, and profound emotional exhaustion. While medical care focuses on treating the disease, many people in Bath and BaNES are left without the day-to-day emotional and social support they urgently need to cope with the realities of living with cancer. We exist to fill that gap.
Founded and run by people with lived experience of cancer, We Get It has created a welcoming, peer-led and growing community where people can be themselves beyond their diagnosis. Through regular social meet-ups, support groups, events, and safe spaces to talk honestly, we help individuals rebuild confidence, reduce isolation, and reconnect with life, identity, and community.
Why have you signed up for the Conference & Expo and what do you hope to gain from it?
It’s the place to be for any local charity that wants to network and share experiences, knowledge and ideas with other local organisations. Plus you get the added benefit of attending the engaging and insightful afternoon conference sessions.
Are there any parts of the event you are looking forward to the most?
Simply welcoming visitors to our stand and the interesting and varied conversations we always have.
What can people expect from your organisation on the day?
Interesting chats, the sharing of our knowledge and information on our support for adults living with and beyond cancer, plus exclusive new information on how local corporates can work with us to support local people with cancer while benefiting from workplace wellbeing support, programme sponsorship and employee engagement opportunities.
