Alice Lucas, Head of Growth, told us more about the company.
Why did you enter the 2025 TBE Awards?
As a proud South West based scale-up, we’re passionate about celebrating and strengthening the business community outside of London. The Business Exchange (TBE) Awards felt like the perfect opportunity to showcase what ambitious, innovative companies in our region can achieve. It’s also a chance to expand our reach within the TBE network and beyond, connecting with like-minded businesses who share our drive for sustainable growth. Most importantly, it’s a moment to recognise the incredible hard work, creativity and commitment of our team who have made our progress possible.
What achievement are you most proud of in the past 12 months?
The past year has been a whirlwind of innovation and growth. We successfully launched our new keg range in an incredibly lean timescale which was a major step forward in bringing high-quality, sustainable wine to more venues. Alongside this, we’ve grown our client base, and experienced 61% year-on-year growth as a business, expanding into new markets while maintaining strong relationships with our partners. Seeing Canned Wine Group wines now served on British Airways flights was a real pinch-me moment, and winning Bath Dragons topped off a year that truly showcased our team’s energy and ambition.
What does being a finalist in the TBE Awards mean to you and your team?
It means the world to our team, who pour their hearts into what we do every single day. From late nights and early starts to weekends spent travelling to trade shows, every bit of that effort has helped us grow. Being a finalist is another recognition that all those long hours and shared ambitions are paying off. It’s a moment for the whole team to take pride in how far we’ve come, and to feel inspired for what’s next.
What’s next for you – any exciting plans or goals on the horizon?
Without giving too much away, there’s plenty more innovation in the pipeline! We’re especially excited about the growing momentum behind wine on tap, and we have some strategic partnerships on the horizon that will help us take that even further. We’d love people to follow our journey which we’re sharing on our LinkedIn page, as we continue to build on this year’s success with fresh NPD and sustainable growth at the heart of everything we do.
If you win, how will you celebrate?
We think an occasion like that calls for something suitably sparkling, perhaps a can of our Sparkling Chardonnay! However as the night unfolds, we’ll be raising a toast to the brilliant team, our partners, and everyone who’s supported us along the way.
